Matt Hundley is a bluegrass, country, and gospel musician from Portland, Oregon. He performs with several bands throughout the Pacific Northwest, at venues ranging from the Portland Rose Festival to the Ponderosa Lounge.
Matt also plays at assisted living centers, retirement facilities, and rehabilitation centers in Oregon and Washington. He performs bluegrass, fiddle tunes, gospel songs, and classic country that the residents at these facilities love, but rarely get to hear. He switches back and forth between fiddle and guitar/vocals, keeping his sets varied and interesting.
Most of his music consists of classic covers from the 1930's through the 1950's, but he also includes more modern covers and originals as well. His shows are dynamic and interactive, and often include interaction with the residents/audience, such as taking requests, playing "Name that tune" games, and more.
